Nishida Tadashige (b. 1942) is a contemporary woodblock artist. The works of Nishida Tadashige are well made and have a high technical level - usually with luxury features like the background made with gold or silver pigments. Tadashige Nishida's woodblock prints come as limited editions of usually 150 or more copies, numbered, dated and signed by the artist. He is especially known for his prints of cats.
He is a recognized contemporary woodblock print master in Japan, and his works are actively collected by Japanese and foreign collectors.
