Refined handcrafted nativity scene made of authentic Sardinian coral, artisanally produced and entirely hand-carved at Perna Laboratorio Orafo, following the most authentic Italian coral-working tradition.
The composition is enclosed in a transparent glass dome, which protects and enhances the scene, resting on a turned wooden base, finished with a decorative rope detail.
Inside, the Nativity scene is composed of natural fragments of Sardinian coral, carefully selected and worked to recreate the grotto setting, enriched with additional decorative elements.
The figurines representing Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus, as well as the other small elements present in the composition, are made of Sardinian coral and entirely hand-carved, without the use of molds or industrial processes.
Each example shows slight natural variations, due to the handmade workmanship and the natural characteristics of the material, attesting to its artisanal nature, authenticity and artistic value.
The coral used is natural Sardinian coral, traditionally employed in Italian coral art, chosen for its warm, natural colour and worked with full respect for the material, without artificial treatments.
