Specchiera- Witch's Eye / Butler - Vetro - Convex Sun Mirror

Up for auction is a fabulous sun convex mirror, elegantly framed with a golden finish that recall the shape of a sun.

On each end of the sun mirror are placed two triangular mirrors for a total of 18 small additional mirrors. Since they are all placed at different angles they create a unique reflection.

Historically known as a "butler's mirror" or "witch's eye," convex mirrors were believed to repel evil spirits and were often placed near entrances to ward off negative energies.

This beautiful piece features a classic design with a versatile aesthetic, making it an elegant addition to any interior space.
