Beautiful Raffaello created in mixed media (pencils, markers, watermarkers) by Simon Bisley.

Simon Bisley (born March 4, 1962) is a British artist, painter, and comic book artist specializing in science fiction, fantasy, and horror. He rose to fame on the series "ABC Warriors," "Slaine," and for his work on the series "Lobo," in which he is considered the definitive incarnation of the eponymous character.

Simon Bisley first rose to fame in England and Europe in the 1990s for his gritty, Frank Frazetta-esque paintings in the pages of the first British anthology series, "2000 AD," on titles such as "Judge Dredd," "ABC Warriors," and "Slaine." He also became a regular contributor to Heavy Metal magazine. In America, Bisley became known as the artist of the crossover "Batman/Judge Dredd: Judgment on Gotham" (for which he won the Eisner Award for Best Artist), the successful series "Lobo," "Hellblazer," "Doom Patrol," "The Demon," "Swamp Thing," "Sandman," and others, all for DC Comics.

Bisley has also worked on several major and independent comics projects, including his story "Bad Boy" with Frank Miller for Oni Press.
He still contributes occasionally to the comic magazine “Heavy Metal”, and has also worked on album covers for bands such as Danzig, King Prawn and Mortal Sin.
