The first edition of this design was published in 1932. The current print is from a recent edition, using the original woodblocks.

The measurements of the image itself (excluding the margins) are 36.5 x 24.0 cm.

Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) was a Japanese artist. One of the most prominent print designers of the shin-hanga movement, Kawase Hasui is possibly the most renowned Japanese landscape artist of the 20th century.

The woodblock print is in excellent condition

Will be shipped with great care in sturdy packaging to prevent folding.
