Byōbu in seta a due pannelli, proveniente dal Giappone (Periodo Taishō, circa 1920–1930), misura 170 cm di altezza, 166 cm di larghezza e 2 cm di profondità, con cornice in legno, firmato e sigillato dall’artista, in buone condizioni con lievi segni di usura, raffigurante foglie verdi e corna di grano con un passero, adatto da appendere al muro o da usare come separé, con certificato di autenticità.

A two-panel silk screen (屏風, byōbu) decorated with an elegant composition of green leaves and grain heads swaying in the wind. In the lower right corner, a sparrow is depicted, rendered with delicate naturalistic detail.

Byōbu (屏風), literally “wind protection screens,” are traditional Japanese folding screens originally created to divide spaces and today appreciated above all as striking wall-mounted paintings.
