E' assodato che, in futuro, diventerà sempre più difficile ottenere fossili di carcarodontosauro esportati legalmente dal Marocco, poiché alcuni di essi sono già classificati come beni culturali e dovrebbero quindi rimanere nel Paese.

Artigli così grandi e ben conservati sono una vera rarità tra i collezionisti e persino tra i musei di fossili di dinosauri e rappresentano uno dei pezzi forti di ogni collezione.

Reperto ovviamente introvabile.

The stratigraphic level of these specimens is Albian or Cenomanian. This is the general age of strata out cropping in this area, the age of the Tegana Formation in the region of Ksar es Souk, where isolated teeth of Spinosauridae have been found, and the biosratigraphic level Carcharodontosaurus.

It is clear that, in the future, it will become increasingly difficult to obtain Carcharodontosaurus fossils legally exported from Morocco, as some of them are already classified as cultural assets and should therefore remain in the country.

Such large and well-preserved claws are a real rarity among collectors and even among dinosaur fossil museums, and are one of the highlights of any collection.
