Condition
All pieces are in very good condition, with only minimal signs of use.
The silver plate shines beautifully, and the four original Christofle presentation cases are also in very nice condition.

About the model – Japonais
The Japonais pattern is a refined, understated design typical of Christofle’s early 20th-century aesthetic influenced by the Japonisme movement, which swept through Europe from the late 19th century.
This pattern is characterised by:

clean, elongated lines,
soft geometric outlines,
a subtle stylised “tapered shield” terminal typical for Japonisme-inspired designs.

It is a rarely seen pattern, less common on the market than Christofle’s classic Marly, Spatours or America designs, making complete services especially desirable.
