The print depicts the Laocoon and his sons scultpure, now at the Vatican Museum

From a set of 36 unnumbered sheets (72 half-page engravings including title-page). This plate wass printed on the same sheet of the title-page: Antiquarum Statuarum Urbis Romæ, Quæ in publicis privatisque locis visuntur, Icones. Originally published in Rome, as 3rd part of the 2nd edition of the Vestigi dell'antichità di Roma by Etienne Du Pérac, by Andrea and Michelangelo Vaccaro, after 1607, probably after 1614.
