Fukurokuju, also known as Fukurokujin, is one of the Shichi-fuku-jin in Japanese mythology. He represents life expectancy and wisdom.
Beautifully decorated and painted in red and gold. (Satsuma colours)
Ca. 1850 late Edo period (1603–1867).

Beautiful gold, red and black colours.

Beautiful patina. With mark in cachet rouge.
