After Pascali's victory, they built another approximately 20 of these Goegebeur/Vigoni Kawasaki Gila M racers. License possible upon request... This is number 9, today there are still 8 in existence, loose frames included.
This block began in standard trim and was later mildly tuned by Karel Zeegers.
In 1992, a - then already old - damage was repaired with a stiffer Yamaha TX 750 front fork with wheel and gauges (also from 1973). Other copies of the Gila M were further modernised...
While restarting it after 25 years of standing still, there was a malfunction in the wiring. But not before the beautiful 750 cc engine block had already produced its first fat blows. It’s not allowed to ride the streets, this 'Joe Bar motor-par-excellence' is that fierce. This is why we just ‘forget’ about trying to restart it again. But it certainly is able to do so...
