Spain - Army/Infantry - Medal, PEACE of Morocco Decoration 1909-1927 (Alfonso XIII) - 1928
Original - Very good condition

Campaign of Africa, RIF and Morocco.

On the obverse, rising sun behind Moroccan urban landscape; two laurel branches; in the lower half, a half moon with the inscription "MOROCCO"; and the inscriptions "PAZ" and "1909 1927" engraved on the bottom and around some tied olive branches. On the back, laurel wreath and the following engraved inscription: "ESPAÑA/SIEMPRE DISPUESTA/A TODA EMPRESA DE CIVI/LIZACIÓN UNIVERSAL CONTRI/BUYÓ Á LA DE MARRUECOS CON/LA SANGRE PRECIADA DE SUS/HIJOS Y CON EL ORO DE SUS/ARCAS. EL TRIUNFO DE SUS/ARMAS Y LA CULTURA DE/SUS METODOS SON LOS/CIMIENTOS DE ESTA/GRAN OBRA DE/HUMANIDAD" surrounded by olive bouquets.

It is joined to the ribbon by a dove perched under a royal silver crown. White ribbon, with two side lists of national colours and green edges. Sewn on it, a star of David in metal.
