Jules van Dam / Wam Heskes - Onder Hypnose. Phantastische verhalen van ongekende machten nrs 1 t/m 8 - 1921

Jules van Dam, possibly a pseudonym of Henri t’ Sas, started a pulp fiction series (large format) under the title ‘Onder hypnose’, 24 volumes) in the years 1921 and 1922. The illustrations in this series are by Wam Heskes.

The main characters are doctor Verhulst, Willem Verhaeren, Anny Marengo, who have to thwart the nefarious plans of the Polish hypnotist Lubincski. The stories are set in Amsterdam and Paris.
