Roman jug handle from bronze.
With pictorial decoration.
The thumb rest is probably a small, male figure. The curved, solid
triangular handle (handle decorated with three double bands) ends in an attachment - head of a large mascaron.
Very well preserved and strongly pronounced.

The item stems from an old collection, acquired in the 60s by O.P., Germany
Estate to son: M. P.
Acquired by me in 2018.
