Original vintage Flandria cycling jersey.
Flandria was a Belgian cycling team from the 1960s and 1970s that was sponsored by Flandria, a Belgian moped and bike brand.
Many greats cycled with Flandria including Roger and Erik De Vlaeminck, Rik Van Looy, Freddy Maertens, Walter Godefroot, Michel Pollentier, Eric Leman, Joop Zoetemelk and the prematurely deceased Jean-Pierre Monseré. Briek Schotte was team leader for a long time. When Flandria went bankrupt in 1979, the cycling team also disappeared.

Freddy Maertens (Lombardsijde, 13 February 1952) is a Belgian former cyclist, he cycled professionally from 1973 to 1987. He won many of his races in the sprint and was good on high gear ratios thanks to his exceptional power. He took part in the Tour de France three times, he won fifteen stages and wore the yellow jersey for nine days. He won the green jersey for the points classification on three occasions.
