Charity Auction (Ricardo Cavolo & Juan Genovés for CEAR)

Charity auction of Ricardo Cavolo & Juan Genovés in favor of CEAR (Spanish Commission for Refugee Support) From June 14 and until next day 30, Catawiki hosts a charity auction in favor of CEAR. The auction includes 15 painting from a continuous canvas Ricardo Cavolo created for the exhibition CEAR, 40 years of refuge. The asylum in Spain painted by Ricardo Cavolo, in March 2019 at CaixaForum, Madrid. Ricardo Cavolo is one of the most international Spanish illustrators and has created murals for Cirque du Soleil or Montreal's Airport. At the same time, and exemplar of an special edition created by the spanish artist and National Prize of Arts, Juan Genovés, will be auctioned. This edition was exclusively created to commemorate the work accomplished by CEAR last 40 years. This work titled Exodus is a digital print of 150 copies on Arches paper numbered and signed in pencil by the author. The Spanish Commission for Refugee Support has been in existence for 40 years, since 1979, defending the right to asylum and human rights, promoting the integral development of refugees who have fled from armed conflicts or human rights violations, asylum seekers, stateless persons and migrants in need of international protection and / or at risk of social exclusion.
