5 beautiful rare Chinese original TEK SING porcelain bowls/dishes
from a ship which sunk on the Indonesian coast in 1822.
The ship was on route to Jakarta where the biggest Dutch trading companies had their trade centres.
Due to the big losses when the ship went down, the tragedy has also been described as the Titanic of the East.
The bowls were auctioned at the Nagel Auction House in 2000, with original auction stickers.
Dimensions: approx. 15-15.5 cm (diameter) / approx. 3 cm (height)
Condition: the bowls are in good condition with normal signs of wear for their age.
Shipping: insured via DHL or Hermes.
