EGYPTIAN SHABTI FOR GENERAL PAKHAAS
LATE PERIOD, 30TH DYNASTY, 380-343 B.C.
Description :
Light-Green faience composition shabti wearing a tripartite wig and braided beard, standing mummiform with hands crossed over the chest to hold the crook and flail, and a seed-bag over the left shoulder.
A framed frontal column of hieroglyphs reading 'The illuminated one, the Osiris, the General of the Army, Pachaas, born of Ibhemes, true of voice'.
The tomb was discovered in the Giza Plateau in 1840.
