A natural banded Buddha's eye ritual bead talisman from the ancient Persian culture.
1st Millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler, so they surfaces are shiny ans smooth, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
