Cont. half calf over marbled boards, spine with 5 ribs, lettered in gold; spine rubbed, especially the lower part; lower part of spine almost loose. At the end a few pages loose. Internal clean and very good copy.
* Founded by Comte O. de Kerchove de Denterghem, the Revue is renowned for its beautiful chromolithographed plates of spectacular flowers. Oswald de Kerchove de Denterghem (1844–1906) was a Belgian liberal politician. He was a lawyer and became a liberal senator. He was an internationally recognized authority in the study of palms and orchids.
