CROWS Balancing on Rocks and in Flight, surrounded by Peonies in Landscape - Schotel - porselein
A nice and rare antique Chinese porcelain Wanli charger, with a central decoration of two crows balancing on rocks and one in flight, surrounded by peonies in a river landscape. Panels with buddhist treasures, swastikas, Peaches, dots and lines, executed in an excellent underglaze blue and white. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (ca. 1580). On the backside a decoration of circles and lines, with a perfect Wanli foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 29,8 centimeter
Condition: The object is in overall fair condition, normal rim fritting, two mouse bits and hairlines and a small restored section on the rim. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
