A superb and rare egyptian spherical bead necklace. Forty bright-blue glazed composition spherical beads with glassy surface, twenty blue faience, short tubular beads and 2 blue faience melon beads at the ends. Large openwork, blue faience melon bead in the centre. Threaded onto modern string. Sold without base. | Egypt. New Kingdom.
