A handsome mold-made, bichrome moche ceramic stirrup vessel in the shape of a seated cacique. Delineated with portrait-like verism, his visage presents wide open eyes, a naturalistic prominent nose, and pursed lips - all topped by a tall bonnet with side ear flaps. The hands resting on his knees.He also wears an impressive tunic with decorated geometric border on the back.
Condition: Some surface wear and pigment losses but intact without restoration. Good condition.
