Large famille rose Chinese porcelain bowl mandarins – China- 18th Century
On offer is a large and rare Chinese porcelain famille rose bowl. Quality bowl, which has been fired at least 2 times in the oven. Depictions in under the glaze blue, with flowers, insects and medallions. Inside the large medallions there is an on the glaze polychrome depiction of mandarin scholars with pupils and in the smaller medallions a depiction of birds on flowering branches. Provenance: Nordic antiques 2023, Ye Hua Chinese Art 2024.
Date: Qianlong period 1736-1795 ca. 1760-1780.
Size: Measures 26cm across and 11cm in height.
Condition: Good. 1 sealed rim hairline. No chips, no frits. A firing defect at the foot rim. Good “ping” sound when tapped with finger nail.
Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace with insurance. Combined shipping possible, we return postage costs.
