Minolta Vectis S-1 (1996) This camera is Minolta’s first Single Lens Reflex camera for the APS film-system. For these autofocus SLRs Minolta developped a complete new set of autofocus lenses: the V-lenses. This camera has the F 4 – 5.6 / 28 – 56 Zoomlens. The camera has the following functions: manual modes for aperture, shutter speed, flash and focusing, fully automatic operation mode, different programmed modes for portrait, landscape, sports, macro or night, choice of automatic focusing modes, and last not least an information display (LCD). Other features are the built-in retractable flash, all-electric control of the lenses, and a data wheel for manual settings of film speed, shutter speed or aperture. In addition it has all the extra functions available for APS film. The viewfinder image is not projected through a prism but through a mirror construction. So the viewfinder is placed at the left side of the camera's back. Exposure information (flash, focusing finished, shutter speed, aperture) is displayed in the viewfinder below the image. Under a removable plastic cap on top of the camera body is a connector for a Minolta AF flash. The powerful flash SF-1, included in this set, was introduced as accessory for the camera. It has an infrared lamp which serves as autofocus support light instead of the built-in flash. In this set you will find 3 APS-film-cassettes. Two of these are by FUJI-film and still in the original closed box, although the expire date is November 2010. So no guarantee these still can be used. The third cassette is also a non-exposed film, so you can experiment with this one. A Manual (in Dutch) is also included in this set. The camera is powered by 2 CR2 batteries. The SF-1 Flash is also powered by 2 CR2 batteries. (These batteries are not included) The most interesting part of this set is probably the rare VECTIS-Camerbag. This is the original Minolta Vectis bag in Blue canvas with brown accents and shoulderstrap. This bag is in absolutely perfect condition and has room enough for all the equipment.
