Erhard & Söhne - Eske - Stemplet - modellnummer 6401/3 - tidlig på 1900-tallet - Messing, Forsølvet

Jewellery Box, Early 20th Century, Gilt Metal, Richly Embossed with Cherub Motifs Exquisite early 20th-century jewellery or trinket box, crafted in gilt metal and richly decorated with deeply embossed classical motifs. All sides and the domed lid are adorned with elaborate scrollwork and a central scene of two cherubs, inspired by Renaissance and Baroque ornamentation. The box stands on four decorative feet and opens smoothly to a beautifully finished, fully gilt interior. The interior lid is also embossed, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship throughout. The underside bears the original maker’s or model marking, numbered 6401/3, indicating factory production of quality decorative objects from this period. Condition: Good antique condition, with visible wear, patina, and surface loss consistent with age and use. Minor rubbing and oxidation to the gilt finish, adding to its authentic antique character. No structural damage. Please review all images carefully, they form part of the description. Details: Period: Early 20th century Material: Gilt metal Decoration: Cherubs, scrolls, classical ornamentation Marked: 6401/3 Origin: Europe A refined and decorative piece, ideal for collectors of antique jewellery boxes, decorative arts, or classical revival objects. Equally beautiful as a functional storage box or as a display piece. Shipping within 1 to 3 business days after payment, securely packaged with track and trace and insurance. Note to US residents: due to extra processing costs of 150 euro plus the increase of tax tariffs on top of the shipping costs, Beau Brocante unfortunately had to raise the shipping costs to cover this. I am really sorry to all my much appreciated US customers. Since this is an auction platform, it's impossible to predict the outcome of the auction and we have to ensure covering costs.
