Ingen reservasjonspris - Ring - 18 karat Gull - Antikk gullspinelring

Antique c.1918 18ct Gold Blue & White Spinel Five-Stone Ring A charming and authentic early 20th-century five-stone ring, dating to circa 1918 and crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold. This elegant piece features a beautifully balanced row of alternating blue and white spinels, flush-set into a gently tapered gold band. The stones are arranged in a classic five-stone format, with a larger central white spinel flanked by two smaller white spinels and two vivid blue spinels at the outer edges. The colour contrast is subtle yet striking, characteristic of refined Edwardian-era design transitioning into the early post-war period. The ring is set with five round-cut spinels, estimated to measure approximately 2.0 mm to 2.8 mm in diameter, with the central white spinel measuring around 2.6–2.8 mm, the two smaller white spinels approximately 2.0–2.2 mm each, and the two blue spinels approximately 2.2–2.4 mm each. The total gemstone weight is estimated at approximately 0.22–0.26 carats. The interior of the band bears clear hallmarks confirming Birmingham assay, 18ct gold purity, and a period-correct date letter consistent with circa 1918. The low-profile setting sits comfortably on the finger, rising approximately 2 mm, making the ring ideal for everyday wear or stacking alongside other antique bands. Despite its age, the ring remains in very good overall condition, with well-preserved stones and legible hallmarks. A lovely example of understated antique jewellery, equally suited as a sentimental dress ring, stacking band, or alternative engagement ring.
