This peated whisky, aged for 14 years in ex-bourbon casks, comes from the Isle of Mull's only whisky distillery (Tobermory). Deliciously smoky, this bottling is rich in aromas, with notes of sweet peat, smoked cheese, custard biscuits, and maritime aromas. A heavily peated whisky from the Tobermory distillery, Ledaig (pronounced "letch-ick") is known for its smoky flavor, complemented by a light fruitiness, a floral harmony, and typical island whisky notes such as sea salt. Located northeast of Mull, the Tobermory distillery was originally founded (as Ledaig) in the late 1700s and, despite its troubled history, is still in full swing today, creating single malts that combine the waters of the Gearr Abhainn stream with traditional whisky-making methods. 70cl 46% vol.
