2.5 carat natural solid untreated black opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia. Set in sterling silver s925 stamped adjustable size ring. Opal is not treated in any way, cut from single rough stone (not a doublet). I can provide lots of pictures and video of how I cut it, to make its story known - just ask me. Body tone is N4 which makes it a black opal. It has a bit of chaff pattern, dominant color is red-pink (sometimes called pigeon blood) with also blue, green, purple and yellow. Colors are visible from all angles. Ring is at US size 7 / EU ~ 55, can be adjusted couple sizes up or down. Australian opal is stable and not hydrophane - is not absorbing liquids like Ethiopian opals do, you can put weir it every day, wash or apply oils or hand cream - this opal will not be effected by it. Just take at away when going to gym or doing heavy labor to avoid scratches. Lightning Ridge is famous for black opals and vibrant colors. Black opal is the most valuable type of opal, as it increases color contrast naturally.
