Imperial bowl with the Daoguang (道光1821-1850)mark. Qing Dynasty period with a purplish-reddish mainly painted colour and with exquisitely painted openwork floral motifs, featuring rose family flowers on a ruby-red ground enveloping 5 representations of domestic life, 5 beautiful small Chinese "Still Lifes" in delightful frames demonstrating the superb Imperial craftsmanship with exquisite glazes featuring warm, lustrous pigments similar to jade and agate. Splendid natural patina. The inner of the bawl is covered with a fine white glaze painted with floral motifs using the Blue and White (青花 Qinghua) technique. The notable DaoGuang Emperor's mark (道光) is also produced using the same Blue and White technique. A true antique and a prized collector's item. Ceramics from the imperial Daoguang kilns are among the most promising collector's pieces from the Qing Dynasty. Not small the size with 15.5 cm in radius,.
