Brosje - 10 karat Gull - Brorskap brosje

An absolute collector’s gem. A complete brooch with the Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity badge from the University of Pennsylvania. Phi Epsilon Pi was founded in 1904 at City College of New York. The fraternity expanded to multiple campuses, organized into chapters. This brooch features an “E” pendant, representing the Eta Chapter at the University of Pennsylvania, crafted in solid 10k yellow gold and decorated with natural seed pearls. One pearl is missing from the E-shaped pendant. The University of Pennsylvania, founded by Benjamin Franklin before the Declaration of Independence, is renowned for its historical significance—Franklin was the university’s first president. Phi Epsilon Pi was established as a Jewish fraternity to support its members. The University of Pennsylvania holds several firsts: its first law professor, James Wilson, was one of six men to sign both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, and its medical school was the first in North America. The brooch weighs 3.82 grams and is also accented with enamel. On the back are the initials H.M.S. Included with the brooch are the fraternity badge and an additional badge (material not examined). This is a unique opportunity to acquire a beautiful gold piece of jewelry and a piece of U.S. history. It is a complete set with the badge, no longer available on the market.
