Macallan Concept 1 Art. The first in a series of anniversary releases and one of a flurry of expressions that Macallan launched in 2018. Inspired by the world of surrealist art, the box represents the six pillars of Macallan reimagined through a surrealist lens. Macallan Concept 2. This is the second of three whiskies released in late 2019, created exclusively for global travel retailers, to complete the concept series. The second edition celebrates music. The idea for the Music bottle came from Macallan Whisky Maker Steve Bremner, who blends whiskies by day and mixes music as a DJ by night. The whisky itself was matured in sherry casks with spices and then bourbon casks. Macallan Concept 3. / David Carson The third and final release in the Concept series.
