A magnificent and rare faience vase from the prestigious La Chambre des Peintres Hollandais atelier of Boch Frères Keramis, La Louvière, Belgium. Produced between 1880-1920, this hand-painted baluster vase (Model 823, Form 41) represents the finest tradition of Delftware craftsmanship combined with Chinese-inspired (chinoiserie) decoration. HISTORICAL CONTEXT La Chambre des Peintres Hollandais was an elite studio within Boch Frères where Dutch-trained painters from Delft and Maastricht created unique ceramic artworks for aristocratic collectors. These pieces were hand-painted (not transfer-printed) and produced exclusively for wealthy clientele.
