Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox alarm clock , 1950s, round gold-plated case. Dial: "Jaeger" at top, "Swiss Made" at 6, cream background, Roman numerals, dauphine hands (hour/minute), inner alarm ring. Manual wind Memovox, runs well. Size: 4.6 cm dia. The Swiss LeCoultre (from 1833) began collaborating with the French Edmond Jaeger in 1903, who commissioned ultra-thin watches. Between 1925 and 1937, it ran under the name "Jaeger LeCoultre", but some pieces were marked only "Jaeger" (exported from the Paris Jaeger factory) or only "LeCoultre" (for the US market) - yet the movements were from the same Swiss manufacture. Condition: original, typical for vintage export models. Type: Mechanical, wind-up travel alarm clock. Origin: Swiss made. Design: Gold-colored case.
