Vase - 1960-tallets nederlandske studio-keramikkvaser - Steingods
Pair of Mid-Century Studio Pottery vases, signed – Netherlands, 1960s
In excellent condition – No reserve.
A striking pair of hand-thrown Mid-Century Modern studio pottery vases, executed in robust stoneware with a powerful organic presence. The sculptural goblet forms are finished with a richly textured, ash-like glaze in earthy beige and brown tones, contrasted by the raw terracotta ribbed bases. A highly decorative duo with strong Brutalist character and unmistakable 1960s European studio ceramic aesthetics.
Both vases are signed with an incised studio monogram to the base, indicating individual atelier production rather than factory-made ceramics. Based on stylistic characteristics, clay body, and glazing technique, these vases are most likely the work of a Dutch designer or pottery workshop from the 1960s.

During the 1960s, Dutch studio pottery experienced a strong revival, influenced by Scandinavian modernism and the international studio ceramics movement. Independent potters and small ateliers focused on expressive forms, natural glazes, and sculptural silhouettes. This signed pair fits squarely within that tradition and represents the authentic spirit of post-war Dutch ceramic design.
Carefully packed and shipped with professional protection.
