You are bidding on a very fine and rare antique 4/4 violin. The instrument is in ready to play condition with no cracks to the corpus. The scroll has old good made repairs. The label says: Josephus filius Matth Albani me fecit Bulsani in Tyroli Anno 1718. The bridge stamped "William John". The violin has an excellent medium grained spruce of the top and one piece back of softly flamed maple wood, fixed with three wooden nails. The whole length of the violin is 592 mm and the back 360 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 166 mm; middle bouts: 112 mm; lower bouts: 209 mm. Don't hesitate to contact me for any questions.
