Set of 6 Small Baccarat Goblets – 80 ml

A refined set of six small antique Baccarat goblets, crafted from fine crystal and finished with precise hand-cut decoration. Despite their delicate size, the glasses display remarkable clarity, balance, and the unmistakable brilliance associated with historic Baccarat craftsmanship.

This design belongs to the same model documented in the 1886 Baccarat catalogue, within the Service de Table section, confirming both authenticity and 19th-century origin. The cylindrical form, low cut stem, and architectural vertical cuts reflect the elegant decorative language of the period.

With a capacity of 80 ml, these goblets are perfectly suited for liqueurs, aperitifs, digestifs, or refined tasting service.

A true antique find — ideal for collectors, connoisseurs, or as a sophisticated addition to an antique crystal collection.

Antique crystal glasses are handmade, so small differences in weight, stem thickness, or wall thickness and small imperfections are normal for that period.

Baccarat is one of the most prestigious crystal manufacturers in the world, founded in 1764 in the village of Baccarat, in northeastern France, under the patronage of King Louis XV. Originally a glassworks producing window panes, mirrors, and stemware, the factory shifted to crystal production in 1816, quickly gaining international acclaim for the clarity and brilliance of its creations.

By the 19th century, Baccarat had become synonymous with luxury and refinement, supplying royal courts and aristocracy across Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. The company showcased its masterpieces at the great World Exhibitions in Paris and became known for its innovation in cut crystal designs, chandeliers, and tableware.

Today, Baccarat remains a symbol of French excellence in fine crystal, blending centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary design, while its antique pieces—like early 20th-century stemware—are highly prized by collectors worldwide.
