Røkelseskar - Bronse - gotisk røkelseskar

Importante incensario gótico medieval (turíbulo) en bronce, datado en el siglo XV, utilizado tradicionalmente en la liturgia cristiana para quemar incienso durante ceremonias religiosas.
La pieza presenta la estructura arquitectónica característica del gótico tardío, con cuerpo calado formado por pequeñas aberturas que evocan ventanas y arquerías góticas, permitiendo la salida del humo del incienso. La parte superior rematada en cúpula y la zona inferior con pedestal completan un diseño típico de los turíbulos utilizados en iglesias y monasterios europeos durante la Baja Edad Media.
El incensario está suspendido por cinco cadenas (cuatro alrededor y una superior que permite levantar la tapa) , sistema tradicional que permitía balancearlo durante la ceremonia litúrgica. Este mecanismo es propio de los turíbulos medievales utilizados en el culto cristiano.
La pieza presenta pátina antigua acorde a su edad, así como desgaste natural propio de un objeto litúrgico utilizado a lo largo del tiempo.
Este tipo de objetos formaba parte del mobiliario litúrgico de iglesias y capillas, y hoy constituye una pieza muy apreciada por coleccionistas de arte sacro, medievalistas y museos.

Important medieval Gothic censer (thurible) in bronze, dated to the 15th century, traditionally used in Christian liturgy to burn incense during religious ceremonies.
The piece features the characteristic architectural structure of the Late Gothic style, with an openwork body formed by small openings reminiscent of Gothic windows and arches, allowing the incense smoke to escape. The upper part crowned with a dome and the lower section with a pedestal complete a design typical of thuribles used in European churches and monasteries during the Late Middle Ages.
The censer is suspended by five chains (four surrounding chains and one upper chain used to lift the lid), a traditional system that allowed it to be swung during the liturgical ceremony. This mechanism is characteristic of medieval thuribles used in Christian worship.
The piece displays an old patina consistent with its age, as well as natural wear typical of a liturgical object that has been used over time.
Objects of this type were part of the liturgical furnishings of churches and chapels, and today they are highly appreciated by collectors of sacred art, medievalists, and museums.
