Egermann - Vase - Krystall - Green Egermann

GREEN BOHEMIAN CRYSTAL VASE – HEAVY HANDMADE ART GLASS Height: 28 cm | Weight: approx. 3.5 kg This impressive vase is crafted from massive green Bohemian crystal, distinguished by its substantial weight, elegant sculptural form, and striking optical structure. The deep green coloration enhances the clarity of the crystal and creates beautiful reflections as light passes through the glass. The vase was hand-shaped directly from molten glass using a blowpipe, without molds. Every curve and contour was individually formed by skilled glassmakers, making each piece a unique one-of-a-kind object with its own character and presence. The result is not only a decorative item, but a true glass sculpture with strong visual impact. This piece originates from the traditional production of the renowned Czech glassworks Egermann, based in Nový Bor, the historic heart of Bohemian glassmaking. Egermann glassworks proudly carried the legacy of Fridrich Egermann (1777–1864), one of the most influential figures in Czech glass history and the inventor of the famous Egermann overlay (Lasur) technique, which helped make Bohemian glass world-famous. For generations, Egermann represented precision craftsmanship, artistic mastery, and international prestige, producing glass objects admired and exported worldwide. Today, authentic hot-worked Egermann glass pieces of this kind are becoming increasingly rare. Specifications Height: 28 cm Weight: approx. 3.5 kg Material: solid hot-worked Bohemian crystal Color: deep green crystal Condition 100% handmade Unused, excellent condition Ideal as a statement piece, collector’s object, or luxury interior decoration. ⸻ This vase is more than a decorative accessory – it is a powerful glass sculpture representing the beauty, strength, and heritage of authentic Czech glassmaking tradition.
