Stokk - .925 sølv - London 1932

An elegant and authentic Art Deco period walking cane, hallmarked for London, 1932, and bearing the maker’s mark of R.P. The cane features a classic mushroom-shaped solid silver knop, characteristic of the refined yet restrained aesthetics of the Art Deco era. The silver collar is decorated with a finely engraved, repeating wave pattern, adding subtle texture and visual rhythm typical of early 20th-century design. The shaft is made of dark polished wood, offering a strong contrast to the silver elements and enhancing the overall elegance of the piece. The original horn ferrule is present but partially worn. Fair antique condition with visible wear, including a split silver collar, surface imperfections and small dents to the knop, and a partially missing horn ferrule. These features are consistent with age and honest use, and they do not detract from the authenticity and character of the piece. A genuine and well-dated example of a British Art Deco walking cane, appealing to collectors of antique canes and early 20th-century decorative arts.
