The origin took place in Bologna where Vecchietti’s Family owned the prestigious pen store A.C. Vecchietti. The name Nettuno (the god of sea) came from the statue of Neptune that stands in Bologna’s Piazza Maggiore, a symbol of the city since time immemorial. The appearance and quality of the pens are very high and often associated with the OMAS firms due also to the friendship with Armando Simoni since before the business.
