ABOUT THE PRINT - Etching / heliogravure - Hand signed and numbered ABOUT THE ARTIST Born in Eibar, Spain, in 1964, He studied printmaking at Morley College and the Block Printmaking Studios in London, and at the Pratt Institute in New York. He showcased his work in a solo exhibition held at the Arpege Gallery in Bayonne and in a group exhibition at the Bonnat Museum in the same city, as part of a tribute to Federico García Lorca. Since then, he has exhibited his work in New York, Bayonne, London and San Sebastián. In 1991, he was awarded First Prize for Printmaking at the Gure Artea Competition and, in 2001, an Honourable Mention at the National Prize for Printmaking and Graphic Art. Her work is represented in the Reina Sofía National Art Centre Museum in Madrid, the Congress of Deputies in Madrid, the National Library in the same city, Banco de Santander, the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Printmaking in Marbella, the Cádiz Provincial Council, the Ordóñez-Falcón Collection and the Raymond Barbos Collection in Mont-de-Marsan.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
