The Blue Ocean fountain pen , designated the M810, was Pelikan's first official limited edition and was released in 1993.
The Blue Ocean is a demonstrator made from a transparent deep blue resin.
The top cap has a gold medallion with the two chick Pelikan logo.
The end of the piston knob also bears a gold medallion depicting the image of a compass rose.
The n ib is the standars 18C-750 two-toned gold nib and bears the customs stamp.
In total, 5000 Blue Ocean fountain pens were produced with ONLY 1000 of those sold in SETS with a matching ballpoint pen.
It really is a marvellous collectors FP/BP set ( all papers, cards, box, inner and outer-boxes included).
