唐泊山窯 - Tozan (陶山) - Tefat - Keramikk, glasert (Raku-keramikk)

Japanese Aka-Raku Tea Bowl (Chawan) by Tozan - Original Signed Box & Cloth - Kyoto Raku-yaki Tradition Artist Profile: Tozan (陶山) The name "Tozan" (陶山) is deeply rooted in the history of Kyoto ceramics. While multiple masters have carried this name, the distinctive "triple-peak" (ΛΛΛ) seal on this piece's original cloth is a hallmark of the Shimada Tozan lineage, associated with the renowned Waraku Kiln in Kyoto. For generations, the Tozan name has represented the pinnacle of traditional tea ceramics, focusing on the spiritual and tactile essence of the Raku-yaki tradition. The Piece: Timeless Aka-Raku Aesthetics This exquisite tea bowl is a prime example of Aka-Raku (Red Raku), the most classic style of Raku ware. The Glaze: It features a warm, organic orange-red glaze with subtle "Hi-iro" (fire marks) and "Kan-nyu" (crackle patterns) that give the piece its unique "scenery" (Keshiki). The Form: Hand-formed (Te-zukune) without a potter’s wheel, the bowl possesses a gentle, irregular shape that fits perfectly in the palms. The Foot (Koudai): The powerfully carved foot reveals the raw texture of the clay, a critical detail for tea ceremony experts to judge the quality and spirit of the potter. Provenance & Authenticity Tomobako: Comes with the original paulownia wood box, hand-signed and sealed by the artist. Tomonuno: Includes the original storage cloth, featuring the artist's distinctive stylized 'Yama' (mountain) seal, serving as a testament to its authenticity and lineage. Dimensions & Weight: Height: 9 cm Diameter: 11.5 cm Foot Diameter: 6 cm Weight: Bowl 260g / With box 360g [Environmentally Friendly Packaging] In an effort to protect our planet, I use eco-friendly and recycled materials for packaging whenever possible. Rest assured, this does not compromise the safety of your item; your tea bowl will be secured with the utmost professional care. [Shipping & Important Information] Shipping method: The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by DHL, FedEx or Postal parcels depend on the situation. It takes about 3 weeks to receive normally. Koto (original wooden box) is essential for the provenance and will be protected with the utmost care. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Sometimes Customs or delivery company in your country contact you for Customs clearance via phone or email.
