Ingen reservasjonspris - Brosje Sølv Ametyst - Perle

Historical & Stylistic Context: An exceptional example of the transitional style between Late Victorian Historicism and Art Nouveau (Secession). This handcrafted brooch (ca. 1890-1910) is a testament to the renowned jewelry craftsmanship of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The design features a symbolic crescent moon set upon a stylized baton/torch frame, representing a classic period piece. Hallmarks & Technical Analysis: Maker's Mark: The piece bears a distinct and rare maker's mark "AAI", professionally struck at the official assay office in Vienna (Wien). Vienna Import Mark: Clearly marked with the official "A" stamp, confirming its historical passage through the imperial capital's jewelry center. Material: Non-magnetic silver, professionally XRF tested at 67.8% Silver (Ag). This specific alloy reflects the historical silver standards used for specialized jewelry within the Monarchy during the late 19th century. (XRF result photo included in the gallery). Gemstones & Decoration: Amethysts: Features three (3) authentic natural faceted amethysts, confirmed by UV fluorescence testing. Pearls: Adorned with eleven (11) natural seed pearls set in traditional floral and crescent mounts. Craftsmanship: Fine hand-engraved geometric and floral patterns with delicate granulation details. Construction & Condition: Mechanism: Original late 19th-century tube hinge with an extended pin (total length 69mm) and a classic "C" clasp. Condition: Excellent antique condition with a rich, uncleaned natural patina. Macro photography reveals a small, authentic antique chip on the top amethyst, which is consistent with its 120-year history and confirms its age. Technical Specifications: Weight: 3.60 grams Dimensions: 43 mm x 16 mm
