Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield - Flaskesett - Forsølvet

A decorative antique silver-plated three-piece condiment set on its original stand, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890–1910. The set was produced by Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield (England) and is richly ornamented with scrolling foliate motifs and finely chased details throughout. It comprises a lidded mustard pot with hinged cover and thumb piece, a pepper pot with pierced dome lid, and an open salt cellar, each raised on small ball feet and securely fitting into a matching circular frame stand with central handle. The craftsmanship is particularly attractive, with consistent repoussé-style decoration across all elements, giving the set a cohesive and elegant late Victorian to Edwardian appearance. The pierced work on the pepper pot lid and the detailed engraving inside the salt cellar add further refinement. The base is stamped “EPNS” (electroplated nickel silver) along with a pattern or registration number and the maker’s mark associated with Henry Wilkinson & Co of Sheffield, confirming quality silver plating rather than solid silver. Condition is good antique condition with age-related wear. There is visible surface wear, tarnish and some minor imperfections to the plating, particularly on the stand and interior surfaces, consistent with use and age. No major damage or repairs noted. A charming and highly decorative table piece, ideal for collectors of antique silver plate or as an elegant addition to a traditional dining setting.
