"The Mamiya N 80mm f/4 L is widely regarded as the defining standard lens of the Mamiya 7 and 7II system. Designed for one of the most respected medium format rangefinder platforms ever produced, it reflects the core strengths of the system itself: portability, optical refinement, and exceptional image quality in a remarkably compact form. For many photographers and collectors, this lens represents the natural reference point within the Mamiya 7 lineup.

What makes the 80mm f/4 especially appealing is the balance it achieves. As the standard lens for the 6x7 Mamiya 7 system, it offers a highly practical angle of view while preserving the lightweight, travel-ready character that helped make the system so highly regarded. It is also appreciated for its clean, well-controlled rendering and its unusually compact physical design for a lens intended for medium format photography. This combination of portability and optical confidence is a major part of its lasting appeal.

Because of its central place in the Mamiya 7 system, the Mamiya N 80mm f/4 L continues to attract strong interest among serious users and collectors alike. It is valued not only as a highly usable standard lens for one of the great medium format rangefinder systems, but also as a lens that perfectly expresses the quiet sophistication and practical intelligence of Mamiya’s later optical design.

Offered here is a beautiful Mamiya N 80mm f/4 L standard lens for the Mamiya 7 and 7II system, one of the most important and desirable lenses in the lineup.
