Description A Chinese porcelain plate from the Kangxi period (1662–1722), decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a continuous figural scene covering the entire surface. The composition depicts several figures gathered beneath a tree, rendered in the lively and expressive painting style characteristic of Kangxi blue and white porcelain. The full-surface decoration gives the plate a strong narrative and decorative quality. A charming example of early Qing porcelain with attractive hand-painted detail.
