Islamisk Bronse Ring - 10. til 13. århundre e.Kr. (Ingen reservasjonspris)
Islamic Culture - 10th to 13th Century AD
A bronze signet ring featuring a large oval bezel engraved with stylized Arabic inscriptions. Rings of this type were widely used throughout the medieval Islamic world as personal seals, administrative tools, and symbols of identity. The broad bezel provided ample space for engraved inscriptions, blessings, names, or devotional formulas, making such rings both practical and highly personal possessions.
The ring displays a robust cast construction with a thick hoop expanding toward the bezel, a characteristic feature of medieval Islamic signet rings. The engraved surface remains visible despite centuries of wear, while the bronze exhibits an attractive dark archaeological patina with lighter highlights across the raised areas. Its elegant proportions and preserved inscription make it a representative example of medieval Islamic metalwork.
