This Marine-Quartz Chronometer is a beautiful example of luxury nautical horology, combining technical perfection with classic aesthetics. Brand / Manufacturer: Wempe (Hamburg, Germany) Model: Marine-Quartz Chronometer Serial Number: 13260 (matching on the white dial and the original brass plate on the front of the wooden case). Case: Elegant, multi-tier double-box made of high-gloss polished mahogany wood with an integrated glass viewing window on top and solid brass hardware (handles, latch, and hinges). Dial: Clean, matte silver-white dial with crisp Arabic numerals, a sub-second counter at 6 o'clock, and the original black spade hands. Marked "Marine-Quartz" and "Wempe Chronometerwerke Hamburg". Movement / Power: High-grade quartz movement powered by 8 Mono-cells (D / R20 1.5V batteries). The battery compartment is located beneath the dial plate and is in very clean condition.
